Description
Pockets at the front and the back of the Henkelion Weighted Vest carry its weight, so the load sits on your torso and does not pull you forward. We fill it with iron pellets and metal rock rather than river sand, which keeps a 12 lb vest compact enough to wear under a light jacket on a cold walk.
Its weight is fixed. Pick it once: 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 or 20 lb, and the pockets stay sewn. An adjustable strap closes around you, and the elastic part of it belongs at the waist, as the photos show, so the vest stays put when you walk briskly or climb stairs. The neoprene is soft at the shoulders, and a mesh pocket on the back takes a phone or keys.
Reflective strips on the vest catch headlights on an evening walk. The 8 and 12 lb vests come in black, gray and blue, the 12 lb also in pink and purple, and every weight comes in black. The 6, 8 and 12 lb black vests also come as a pack of two, for two people who train together.

Can you change the weight of the Henkelion weighted vest?
No. Each vest has a fixed weight of 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 or 20 lb, sewn into its front and back pockets. If you want to add weight over time, start with a lighter vest and add ankle weights for some sessions, or move up a vest size later.
How should the Henkelion vest sit on your body?
With the weight high on your chest and back and the strap closed snugly. The elastic part of the strap goes at the waist. A vest that bounces on a brisk walk is too loose: tighten the strap before you set out.
Which Henkelion vest weight should you start with?

Can you run at night in the Henkelion vest?
The vest carries reflective strips that catch headlights. They help drivers see you, but they are not a light: on a dark road add a lamp and wear bright clothes as well.
